A free rhythm game in your browser. Tap falling notes in time with 175+ songs — or paste a YouTube link and Do Re Mi builds the level for you. Chain a streak, hit MUSE MODE, battle a friend on one phone.

How to play

  1. Notes fall down three lanes toward the glowing hit line.
  2. Tap the lane exactly when a note reaches the line. Closer = better.
  3. Long notes have a tail — press and hold until the tail clears the line.
  4. Chain hits to raise your combo. Every 10 in a row bumps the multiplier, up to ×4.
  5. Ride the streak — the whole stage transforms as your combo climbs: 20 GROOVE 50 ON FIRE 100 MUSE MODE. One miss and it all comes back down.

Settings

Sweeps the music slowly around your head. Made for headphones — on a speaker it just sounds wobbly. YouTube levels are unaffected: their sound comes from YouTube’s player, which we can’t reach.

Which songs get played, how runs go, and what people search for — so the library gets stocked with what you actually want. No ads, no profile. Turning this off stops it completely. What we collect

Privacy

Do Re Mi has no accounts and no sign-in. Most of what you do never leaves your phone.

Stays on your device

Songs you load, the charts built from them, your settings, your tap calibration and your personal best scores all live in this browser’s storage. They are not uploaded, and clearing your browser data deletes them for good.

Leaves your device

Two things, and only when you do something that needs them:

  • A leaderboard score — the song, difficulty, length, score, accuracy, best combo and the time, sent with a random id this app generated for your device and whatever display name you typed. The id is not linked to you, your phone or any other app.
  • A song you chose to share — its title and artist, plus either a YouTube video id or, if you uploaded audio, the audio file itself. The checkbox when you add a song is what decides this, and you can delete anything you shared.

Other companies

  • YouTube (Google) — YouTube levels play in YouTube’s own embedded player, which sets its own cookies and applies Google’s privacy policy. Nothing is downloaded from it.
  • Apple — the iTunes Search API supplies song titles and cover art.
  • Supabase hosts the library and leaderboards; Vercel hosts this site.

Measurement

No advertising and no profile building, and nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing. We do use Google Analytics to see which songs get played, how long runs last, how they go, and what people search for — the search terms are included, because the songs people look for and don't find are exactly the ones worth adding. Google sets its own cookies for this under its privacy policy. Settings → Share anonymous stats turns it off entirely.

Removing things

Settings → CLEAR SCORES wipes your local bests. A song you shared can be deleted by you from the library — nobody else can delete it, and nobody else’s can be deleted by you. For a leaderboard entry or anything else, get in touch.
